Job Introduction
The London Ending Homelessness Accelerator Programme (EHAP) is led jointly by London Councils, London Housing Directors Group and the Greater London Authority. It was established with support from the Centre for Homelessness Impact in response to the escalating homelessness and temporary accommodation crisis, and recognition that London could achieve more by strengthening how we collaborate on shared priorities.
With a focus on strengthening leadership and capacity building, making best use of data and insight, and building our shared understanding of what works to prevent homelessness, the programme is working pan-London to drive progress on five strategic priorities:
- Building the capacity and knowledge to prevent homelessness
- Ending rough sleeping and preventing single homelessness
- Ensuring sufficient supported housing, and better resident experiences and outcomes
- Reducing the cost of and demand for temporary accommodation
- Making best use of data & insights
In addition, the programme provides additional capacity to support boroughs and local partners to work collaboratively across five sub-regions within London.
We are seeking a Prevention Delivery Lead who will lead implementation and support for the EHAP Prevention Plan of Action and Thematic Group.
Role Responsibility
Improving the prevention of homelessness and rough sleeping is a top priority for the programme. Hosted in London Councils, the postholder will work in a multi-organisational Delivery Unit with the Greater London Authority (GLA), London Housing Directors’ Group, London boroughs, and a range of key partners.
The post holder will play a leadership role in driving forward and coordinating the delivery of the Prevention Plan of Action and Thematic Group, providing expert policy and delivery support to drive a strategic shift towards prevention — reducing homelessness and rough sleeping across London.

Our Recruitment Approach
The application process involves answering a small number of application questions aligned to the essential criteria for the role. All applications will be processed using a blind sifting method. This means that personal identifying details will be removed to ensure fair and unbiased shortlisting of applications.
The panel sees only the anonymised generated CV that Tribepad builds from the Education and Employment History sections of the application form.
Uploading a personal CV is optional and only helps auto-populate these sections - it does not replace completing them.
Please ensure these sections are fully completed. If they’re left blank, key information won’t appear in the anonymised pack and fair review becomes harder.
Your full details and original CV are not shared with the panel until after the shortlist is agreed and you are invited to interview.
We are committed to equal opportunities and encourage applications from all backgrounds. Reasonable adjustments will be made to support candidates during the recruitment process.
